The
following flow chart describes the process of applying for a
Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) Highway Access Permit.
A Highway Access Permit is required whenever a property owner/developer
wishes to access state maintained highways. The permit process
allows VTrans the opportunity to have control over driveway
location, design, and effect on vehicular flow. Through this
control, VTrans can improve vehicular flow and access throughout
the state.
Is the proposed
access located on or
