| The Hot Mix Asphalt Unit supports the mission of the Materials and Research Lab by assuring that the PG asphalt binders and emulsions are of consistent quality, and that the correct proportion of aggregate is present. Testing is performed on samples extracted from the plant as well as cores taken from highway sites. | |||
