- July 22, 2011 - Hardwick CORS APR (VTHA) is now
incorporated into the National CORS Network.
- June 14, 2011 - The CORS station has been installed
in Richmond (VTRI). Data for this station is available for
download as well as
for RTK applications.
- The Receiver at the Rutland CORS (VTRU)
has been removed from the site and is being sent in for
diagnostics/service. It is expected that this process will
take a week or two at a minimum. We are in hopes that the
repair is fairly simple and that the receiver will be back
in service soon. We will provide an update when we
know more.
- February 25, 2011 - The CORS station has been installed in
Hardwick (VTHA). Data for this station is available
for download as well as for RTK applications.
- September 30, 2010 - The CMR+ data streams for all VT
CORS will be eliminated on October 12, 2010. The RTCM
v3.1 will replace the functionality of the CMR+ data stream.
- May 28, 2009 - CORS Station VTIP (Island Pond) is
now published as a National CORS. The official data,
coordinates, and site logs are available on the NGS CORS
Page as well as this site.
- May 21, 2009 - CORS Station VTMI (Middlebury) is
now published as a National CORS. The official data,
coordinates, and site logs are available on the NGS CORS
Page as well as this site.
- April 25, 2009 - Danby CORS APR (VTDA) is now
incorporated into the National CORS Network.
- April 22, 2009 - Connection to VTD7 was lost yesterday
at approximately 1:20pm. Connection was restored this
morning at approximately 8:35am. Data for VTD7 during
this period is not recoverable.
- April 10, 2009 - We are experiencing intermittent
connection problems to the CORS stations. There is no
one station that is having this issue, and it appears to be
random. When it is determined that the connection has
been lost, it can be easily restored, however should the
communications be lost at night or on the weekend, it will
not be restored until we get back into the office during
normal business hours. We are working to determine
cause and will hopefully resolve this issue soon.
- March 18, 2009 - Connection to VTD7 has been restored.
Data is being collected for post-processing and the
real-time data stream is available.
- March 13, 2009 - On March 12 at 2:45 eastern time, a
configuration change to the State's firewall has temporarily
disabled connection to VTD7. The issue is being worked
on and a notice will be posted when resolved.
- February 25, 2009 - Now that the new data storage device
is in place, there is ample space to add additional data
storage options. To minimize download time for those
users not requiring 1-second data, we have created a
15-second data storage option for each receiver.
15-second data is available in both the Trimble .dat format
as well as RINEX.
- February 17, 2009 - CORS Station VTBE (Bennington) is
now published as a National CORS. The official data,
coordinates, and site logs are available on the NGS CORS
Page as well as this site.
- February 11, 2009 - The CORS server and Real-time system
will be down for scheduled maintenance from 8:00am to
10:00am on Thursday February 12, 2009.
- January 27, 2009 - The CORS station has been installed
in Island Pond. Data for this station is available for
download beginning on day 027 (January 27,2009) as well as
for RTK applications.
- January 16, 2009 - There has been and continues to be
problems associated with the function of VOLGIS. It is
likely that periodic outages will occur until the issue is
resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may
cause.

Data for VTWR, VTC1, and VTSA may not be available, or
partially available during the outage period.
- October 16, 2008 - A CORS installation is planned for
Brighton (Island Pond). This installation is scheduled
for the last week in October. Data for this station
should be available by the end of November.
- October 16, 2008 - CORS stations have been installed in
Bennington, Danby, and Middlebury. Data for these
stations are available for download beginning on day 283
(October 09, 2008) as well as for RTK applications.
- June 20, 2008 - Connection to VTRU was restored as of
June 19, 2008 3:31 pm Eastern Time.
- June 16, 2008 - CORS Station VTRU is currently down due
to a strong storm what hit Rutland, VT on the evening of
Saturday June 14. High winds that brought down trees
has severed internet communications at the State's Rutland
Hub. Crews are working to resolve the issue.
- June 12, 2008 - CORS Stations VTD7 (St. Johnsbury) and
VTRU (Rutland) are now published as National CORS. The
official data, coordinates, and site logs are available on
the NGS CORS Page as well as this site. The remaining
station VTRW is currently under review
- May 23, 2008 - Connection to VTSA was restored as of
2:45 Eastern Time
- May 23, 2008 - On May 22, 6:45 Eastern Time, network
connection to station VTSA was lost. It was
anticipated that there would be a short outage as a result
of a change of ISP at the site, however more significant
problems have been encountered. The issue is being
worked on and a notice will be posted once connection is
regained. We apologize for any inconvenience this may
have caused.
- January 31, 2008 - On January 30, 2008 NGS officially
accepted six of the VT stations into the National CORS
Network. These stations are VTOX, VTD9, VTD2, VTC1,
VTSA, and VTSP. The official data, coordinates, and
site logs are available on the NGS CORS Page as well as this
site. The remaining stations VTRW, VTD7, and VTRU are
currently under review of the NGS Site Selection Team and it
is anticipated that these stations will be accepted in a
number of months.
- December 20, 2007 -
Preliminary CORS Site Logs now available - Antenna and

- August 14, 2007 - Internet connection has been restored
to VTSA and VTC1
- August 13, 2007 - Station VTSA and VTC1 are experiencing
internet connection problems. No data has been
received from VTSA since 08/09/07 and from VTC1 since
08/12/07. We are working to resolve these problems.
