How long does the Pre-qualification process take?

The Pre-qualification process takes on average approximately two (2) weeks.

 

 

What needs to be done to be given consideration for pre-qualification in specific areas of work?

Documented, relevant experience must be provided in order to be given consideration for pre-qualification in specific areas of work.

 

 

What do I/my company need to provide in order to become eligible to bid as a Prime Contractor with the Vermont Agency of Transportation?

To become eligible to bid as a Prime Contractor with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, the Agency requires all Contractors to be pre-qualified a minimum of five (5) working days prior to the opening of bids for the project(s) on which a Contractor intends to bid.

 

Does the entire Questionnaire have to be filled out in order to be considered for pre-qualification?

Yes.  In addition please note that Page 8 of the Questionnaire MUST be filled out by the business seeking pre-qualification.
