Visitors at the Colchester Site

Visitors observe archaeologists excavating at the Colchester Site.

Public Outreach efforts associated with the Circumferential Highway Archaeological Excavations include a variety of teaching tools for teachers and their students across the state of Vermont. These tools will include kits with casts of artifacts from the Northeast, and a student handbook. The handbook provides an introduction to archaeology in Vermont and summarizes the results of research conducted at sites along the Circumferential Highway.
