Systems Planning is divided into two sections, transportation plan development and the transportation planning section.

Transportation Plan Development

This section either conducts, or manages consultants conducting planning studies and projects for the Agency of Transportation.  In addition, the section provides travel demand forecasting model analysis in support of VTrans and regional planning projects.

Transportation Planning Section

Principal duties include the ongoing process of developing and updating the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program and working with the CCMPO in developing and updating the Transportation Improvement Program for the Chittenden County urbanized area.  Duties also include managing Scenic Byway projects, and support to the Scenery Preservation Council.
